We’re proud to share that Berkel Gin was awarded the bronze medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) — one of the most respected and globally recognized awards for spirits. This honour celebrates the quality, craftsmanship, and unique character that make Berkel Gin stand out.
Inspired by the sudden death of their (grand) father the family started this passionate journey. With only girls the family name was after all at serious risk. A tribute based on shared love for juniper berries was therefore born. The daughters and granddaughters started to search how Berkel Gin could come to live.
What a journey that has been! The mix of botanicals, the first samples, the tasting. They’ve devoded almost 2 years to get it right. Drink it pure or pair Berkel Gin with an amazing tonic, soda, rosewater or ginger beer and you’ll have no choice but to feel the sparkles. Berkel Gin is crafted with utmost care and attention. The entire production process is done by hand, from meticulously filling each bottle to manually sealing them. This artisanal approach ensures exceptional quality and gives every bottle a unique, personal touch.
